B i o g r a p h y
Callan is a young musician with a love for all styles of music. Starting his musical education at the age of seven on clarinet he developed a keen interest in all aspects of performing, whether it be classical, jazz, rock or pop and this is still apparent in his musical endeavors today.
As a keen jazz fan he has appeared with several bands at The New Yellow Dog Jazz Club as well as appearing with Southampton Youth Jazz Worskhop. Callan has also played reed parts in such musicals as Anything Goes, Beauty and The Beast, My Fair Lady, Carousel, The King And I and most recently Hello Dolly.
Aside from his regular participation in jazz and swing music he is an accomplished classical musician, playing violin in various string ensembles and principal clarinet in Southampton Youth Orchestra.
Since his first wedding gig in September 2012 Callan has developed a varied repertoire of which he is always adding to and always willing to adapt to couple’s individual needs.
